Most mornings, weather permitting, I can be found out
on our front porch, with my Bible, my journal, my devotional
book, and a fresh cup of hot steaming coffee with 2 sugars
and enough cream to make it blond. {wink}
It is here that God gives me all I need to travel through my
day with a smile and a good attitude.
{though on some days I need more than one attitude adjustment}
☺
I take several deep breaths in, and breath out all of
my cares, leaving them each in the
strong hands of the Almighty One.
How precious are His thoughts towards those who love Him.
Here are some photos of the things I love looking at
as I sit and take in the beauty of creation.
These adorable little blossoms just make me HAPPY!
They look like streamers or fireworks!
Just too cute!
One of the first buds on my knockout rose bush!
Spring has come to central Florida!!
My birdy garden stake...also makes me smile!
Lovely little bits of moss on our lava rocks...joy really is in the little things, huh?
What a lovely shade of Spring green!
Today I am taking a little bit of time to
truly enjoy making this blog post
and to
Just Breathe!
May your day be filled with joy!
Hugs,
PS...I am cooking up a fabulous Spring Giveaway!
STAY TUNED!!!

God speaks to me through the beauty of nature too. I need to remember to take moments and slow down so that I can listen with my heart. Beautiful post.

Hi Becky,
That's just how I like my coffee too :)Beautiful photos of His creation. If you would like, I think this would be a great post to link to my Think on these Things. Here is the link:

Lovely photos.
Love your blog and all the beautiful photos.

You have the recipe for a good day. And I loved your nature pictures. Have a wonderful day.
Dearest Beck, I've been missing you girl! So glad you are taking those early morning hours and spending time in quiet reflection. How I wish I could come hang out and help with with all you've got on your plate. We sure take our coffee alike-except I just use those flavored creamers. Sending love your way today.
Hugs, Nor
Hi Becky, I am always glad to see you are posting and this is a lovely post. I am reminded to do the same thing. I need to 'just breathe' from time to time to take in nature and our Lord. Right now, at a very early stage, we have lots of budding going on. A good freeze is possible and would be a disaster so I am hoping our warm weather will continue. We hardly had a winter at all. No snow to talk about either.
Your photographs are beautiful. I need to learn more about our camera.
'Just breathe' more often. Smile.
Love, Jeanne
I need to start my day more like you!
Dear Becky, what perfect mornings,to be able to sit there and while breathing taking in all the beauty of God and his fabolous creations.
Hugs,Dorthe
Oh what a delightful blog post! I love the same. I love to sit with my young grandchildren and show them God's love and beauty in the very small things around us. If we can stop and see these we can see the bigger blessings charging right for us!
Thank you for such wonderful insight and beautiful sentiments!
Blessings for a wonderful weekend!
Donna
Hey Becky,
Great post....just what I needed to hear! My mornings have been consumed with 'other things' even though I know how much better the day goes when I spend time with the Lord first thing. I've been convicted lately about how my passion for decorating, antiquing and gardening has taken 'first place' in my life. So now I'll ask His forgiveness and begin anew tomorrow morning with fresh mercies.
Hugs,
Susie
I so enjoyed seeing your spring flowers. We are a couple months away from that. We had a snow storm yesterday and Mary had so much fun playing and making a snow man!
A beautiful reminder...
Today, I already need to get back on track...Life is coming at us so fast right now...and I need to put all these cares in God's hands. Actually, they are already there...I just need to acknowledge it and to stop worrying.
J
I really need to carve out some time like that as well. I am afraid I am slacking and that is not a good thing at all! So thankful God forgives!
Blessings~
