Hard to believe that just this morning, this little charmer...
looked like this...
I want to encourage you to look at these wooden shelves,
baskets, bowls, signs, etc... as diamonds in the rough!
With a little help, they can be turned into such great pieces!
This one had no imperfections, and I immediately
envisioned it with touches of French inspiration!
I whitewashed it, scruffed it up a bit, glued on
the little birdy, and added some goodies!
Easy peasy!!

Not convinced that it is just that easy?
It really is!!
But if you'd rather buy it than try it,
head on over to the shop and grab this

It's great! Your ideas give me pause when I see ugly wooden items in my thrift store. Thanks for inspiring me to look beyond the ugly 80's country pieces that everyone is dumping. They can be re-purposed into something lovely!

I absolutely started looking at wood pieces with a different eye for the past couple of years now, Becky! It's amazing how great they can look with a coat of paint!

Hi Becky,
I love the transformation of your lovely wooden holder, and amazing what a lick of white paint can do.

You are such a creative woman. It's wonderful that others are seeing that. I am so happy for your success!!!
